GVS Empty FPLC Columns are powerful tools for purification of tagged proteins, antibodies and other biomolecules. Researchers can pack columns with their own chromatographic media using different separation mechanisms (e.g., immunoaffinity, ion exchange, size exclusion, reverse phase) to perform various applications.
Each empty FPLC column includes one column tube, one sealing sleeve, one sealing plug, one top frit, one bottom frit, one top stop plug and one bottom stop plug.
The columns are made of biocompatible polypropylene that does not interact with biomolecules. The top and bottom frits are manufactured from porous polypropylene.
There is a snap-off end on the outlet.
GVS provides 1 mL and 5 mL empty FPLC columns, which can be operated with LC systems such as ÄKTA purifiers, peristaltic pumps or syringes.
